Leadership bug?

So I'm riding around Caladria with my 100 companions (all swad knights), when some of them defect due to low morale. I figured this might have been from fighting swadians constantly? So I attacked some rhodoks. Massacred ~450 of them in a few battles. Still "terrible" morale.

I've always run with this army. I'm not doing anything different. Does anyone know how to tweak morale (on food, leadership skill, whatever) on *****STEAM*****?

Go to your morale breakdown and look at what your morale is currently, if you're fighting a lot of Swadians with Swadian units you can get a serious negative modifier for those units, and a single win against Rhodoks isn't going to clear that.  Get a lot of varied food asap and go find more Rhodoks or bandits or something and you'll need a few wins. The faction morale penalties/boosts take a while to dissipate.
