Hey, I downloaded the mod and then I played it a bit. I just checked the changelog post and it said that Welsh and British (in England) were added, among other things. I don't have those on my version and was wondering where to download the latest one. Anyone know?  :)

EDIT: If there is a later version =P If not is there a way to fix this?

Changelog is updated as he works on the mod, it's not whats in the latest release, a new version is probably going to be released this week (me guessing here btw).

AHA! Caught it!

lol just kidding. Exciting to hear that though, awesome work guys! Even though I preordered the new CoD, M&B (and your mod) is always my go-to choice. Keep up the great work!!!!

This mod plays on my netbook without crashing.  I'm willing to put up with a lot of the gaps because it's better than Caladria, even if it doesn't have the truckload of bells and whistles that 1257 AD does.  The save files are a bit large, but I can email them on gmail, so I'm happy.

This is just an early beta version, so I'd hang onto these early beta's if you plan to play it on the netbook :) the full game is going to be far far far larger with the map filled in as much as current hardware permits without lag.

It's revelations like these that make me believe, if only for a moment, that there is a god.

What I just said has been stated over and over and over again on this sub-forum, it's people like you who have to invent gods to explain what is right there infront of you ;)

One of the "nice to have" things would be a way of limiting map scope.  I would like to be able to have the stuff that is near me running all the little calculations all the time, but the more distant stuff be quiescent so it didn't eat processor cycles.  When I'm on my way to capture the Orkneys, I really don't care how caravans are faring in the Levant.  I know there's not an easy way to do this, but it would be nice for us netbook users if it could be done.

No probably not, what I can do when the map is released is make a super optimized version of the map for lower-end PCs. But you shouldn't have any problems this time, when the new map is finished I'll shave off unnecessary faces.

Thanks Computica for this work and all you do with SoD as well.  Being able to dial down the complexity in some way would be a nice feature that other mods would benefit from if you could make it portable.  This is probably more than including a different set of setup files, but I'm not positive it has to be.

One of the things Charles Lindbergh was a master at was trimming aircraft and adjusting the engine fuel mix so that they would fly further and faster.  There are strong indications that he developed a series of methods that he personally taught the P-38 pilots who flew right to the end of their range to catch and kill Yamamoto.  Think of these endurance refinements as a skill in your code warrior's training.
