Latest patch has broken the game for me

I have not played since the latest patch which was on friday and i started to play earlier today and every time i load into the before battle dialogue the game freezes and crashes on the load screen and if i somehow get into the battle the game freezes and crashes during the load screen after the battle its crashed around 10 times now on different battles and mind you i get no performance issues while in the battles with 700 troops on the field
I also got this error on one of the crashes
Specs are: RTX 2070 super 8GB
Intel I7 9700k
16 GB 3200mhz DDR4 Ram

You're talking about 1.0.10 right? and not 1.1.0? you shouldn't have the latter unless you opted in the beta.

Just check that the crash hasn't already been reported by other players, and make sure to specify which version of the game you are running. Also, check out the 'how to report a bug' stickied thread at the top of that sub-board.
