Lame Horses

I've read that lame horses heal if you put them in your inventory, but how long does this take as I've had some in there for abour 20 days now and they're still showing as lame?

A long time. 30 days maybe?

Holy cow. Something's wrong, because I've healed lame horses in... Hours. MAYBE a full day, but I doubt it. Maybe that changed in the last update.

Yeah, they used to heal in around a day. It was a little quick, but I think the current length of time is just too long, might as well make it permanant. Why would I wait for it to heal? I can earn enough to buy 40 good horses in that time span.

Oh, so it changed. well, you know that's not so unrealistic.
But then the human heal-rate looks magical in comparison.

Change it to a week instead of a month, and I'd be more likely to keep my horse around.

Oh yeah, it's fairly realistic, but IMO kinda useless, gameplay wise.

it's based on your surgery skill, or first aid, or something. I healed my lame charger in about 3 to 4 days, but I have high medical skills.

Is it dependent on your surgery skills, or does the party stack help at all?

I finally got my Courser to heal, but the saddle horses I have in my inventory are still lame even thought they have been there longer.

Healing time is more realistic but on the other hand somewhat unnecessary since you can just buy a new horse within that time...

Again, economy tinkering is needed to make things like horse healing more viable

There seems to be ALOT of randomness as to how quickly horses heal, but higher would treatment skill helps.
