It's definitely not dead, pretty sure it's still being worked on, and yeah as you mentioned as long as modders keep working on it then we have something to keep our minds settled ^^
Jackson apparently wants to start work, or has already started work on unique halls in all the capital cities. posting here because he's too lazy to give updates to paying customers such as ourselves

The trick is to persuade the Holdfast devs to make Spain the next faction, and then secretly use their money to develop Spain for L'Aigle.
