I could, but I probably won't. I don't want to mess with the very delicate balance between visuals and performance.

I've got La Victoire est a Nous, The British Grenadiers and The Pariser Einzugmarsch right now, but I ideally I'll have a few songs per faction so they don't get too repetitive. If you'd like to make any suggestions as to which songs/marches I should include, by all means. Sheet music and/or midis would obviously help, but I can probably find them myself in most cases.

If you are still taking requests for songs, please add the British march Girl I left behind me. Very popular in the time period. also i'm dying for this update. Any estimates on release?

This isn't very interesting, but it's a little look at some of the polishing I've been doing when I haven't got time to work on more important things. Here I'm trying to make the menus a little more interesting to look at than a blank page and a small black and white picture.

The sharp boxes and gradient backing looks very modernistic and at odds with the artwork, but it's an immense improvement over the default.

Every time I compile the mod unicode characters get screwed up. The process to fix them is a little annoying so I only bother to do it when I'm ready to release. I guess I should bother if I'm taking screenshots with text in.

I experimented with other styles, but this worked best. We'll see if I can at some point concoct something a little better.

I'm glad to see that development is still ongoing, as this is one of my favourite mods both in terms of time period and content. It's been quite a while since the last update as far as I can tell, so it's exciting to see.

Mod is looking great indeed!

On money: please make it worth to do quests in the late game. A meager amount means that content will be off any endgame player's list.

On opinion: make it truly relevant a la Viking Conquest. Raided a village? -20 opinion! Rescued lord from dungeon? +30 opinion! And so on and so forth. That kills grinding and makes every little action something really important.

On faction names: is there any way to turn on full English names for the factions? I never refer to the Austrian Empire as Osterreich, ever, anywhere. I mean, Russia doesn't even use the Latin alphabet. Things will always look weird one way or the other, so I would prefer to use their common English names in-game. If anyone can point me in the right direction I will be thankful.

Edit your factions.csv file in Modules/L'Aigle/languages/en

That file doesn't even exist in my folders.

Edit "factions.txt" in your base L'Aigle folder. Scroll down until you find "0 fac_kingdom_1 L'Empire_Français" and then edit each faction's name and save the file. Be sure to use underscores instead of spaces within each faction's name.
