lags

hi, i'm new here. great game, and i already ordered the key via paypal, hope i get it soon

ok, my problem is that in battles with a few men (more than just me and the enemy) i get small lags when my allies are hit. it's really annoying especially if you are aiming with your bow. does anyone else have this problem?
it is no performance issue because i easily got 140fps and more...

Befor i got my new computer i used to got lag spikes when i shot people , sometimes it even crashed the game. It may be something to do with the blood sprays or something on slower computers.

yeah but as i said my pc should really be sufficient. it's a a64 3200+ with 1 gig ram and a radeon 9800 pro.
it's really unplayable in bigger battles... any suggestions?!

We have very similar machines and I have no problems of this sort. I would suggest uninstalling ... doing a full re-install ... and updating all your drivers and such.

If that doesn't work ... then I have no idea.

ok, i'll try the reinstall. although i will not update my drivers, they are already updated

Make sure you don't have too many other programs running, check for spyware maybe.

I just yesterday upgraded to a gig of ram from 512. Not even getting a little blood-gout stutter. I also have the a64 3200, but my radeon's 9600.

i have no ther programs running, and my pc has no viruses/trojans/ads etc. on it.
i just reinstalled m&b and updatet my catalyst to 5.9. it's still there. i think it's a little bit better, but that just might be imagination...

as said before, i get short lags, whenever somebody hits someone, or if a message appears on the left screen. disabling those messages also doesn't help...
