Lag issue 7.11

Not sure if this is really a bug but it's a problem for me.
Normally this game never lags, ever. Except when I fight in some of the steppe areas up north, particularilly around the salt mine. I think it may be because there are too many bushes in the battle area but I'm not really sure.

Also the game sometimes crashes and disables direct x with it. No clue why on that one, is just an observation. Any help on this is welcome I tried searching but lag issues cause by abundance of bushes seemd not to reall present itself if you know what I mean.

The direct X issue is usually down to outdated\bad drivers. Probably worth checking you have the latest installed.

For the lag issue there are numerous things to try. Firstly, go into config and make sure the settings are right for your card.
Secondly, try disabling some of the graphics options like shadows and see if it has any effect.
Thirdly, close down all non-essential programs and processes before you run M&B.
