Lady Valkyrie Order not buildable, bug or misunderstanding?

According to the Wiki, all I need for the Lady Valkyrie order is honor, gold, and Fierdsvain culture.

I built one in a castle when I was working for Valdis. Then I rebelled, gave the castle to a lord and moved to a city.

I couldn't build it. I wondered if I could only build one at a time, so I took the castle back, dismantled the order, and still couldn't build it.

I have 100+ honor, 130k+ gold, and I chose Fierdsvain as my culture when I rebelled.

Any idea why I can't build the order?

I think you have to occupy the location where the order is based if you want to build a chapter of it. So to build a Lady Valkyrie order, you need to own Jarviksholm (I think) and for Knights of the Lion you need Serleon and so on.

the FAQ says:

Lady Valkyrie Sisterhood: Lady Valkyrie (from Valkyrie)
Fierdsvain Lord or in Javiksholm. Existing chapter in Javiksholm.

based on this you were able to buid chapter of this knighthood order before cause you were Fierdsvain vassal...
Doesn't matter if you took Fierdsvain culture when you rebelled or not (you can still train Valkyrie from peasant women and don't need have to firedsvain culture for this)
But now since you are a rebel king you will have to take Javiksholm - but then again you will already own the chapter then... but you will be able to build more of them elsewhere....

too bad that you have already dismantled the one you had in the castle

I ran into this myself.

What culture you pick as an empire doesn't affect what Knighthood orders you can choose, save for Pendor culture. If you choose Fierdsvain culture for your own nation you still have to take Javiksholm to create Lady Valkyries. When it says 'Fierdsvain Lord' as a requirement it means you have to be a vassal sworn to the Fierdsvain king. If you're a King on your own that follows the Fierdsvain culture, it doesn't count.

So say you start an empire and follow Ravenstern culture. You can't build Knights of the Dragon or Raven Spear without capturing Rane and Poinsbruk. If you are a sworn vassal of King Gregory IV though you can create chapters of either order if you've got a Qualis gem, gold, honor, renown and a castle or town to do it in.

Yes. Unfortunately, I had been going off the Pop wiki, which told me I could build orders based on cultural choice.

No I didn't. It had a section for things new in Pop 3, so I thought it was in the process of updating.

We are still working on the PoP 3 new Web Page/Wiki - sorry, but we are busy with the PoP 3 port to Warband, too, so the Wiki is not getting as much attention, though Mordred did do some updating recently.  If you'd like to assist in getting it done, pm M0rdred.

by the way is there anyway i can help with the wiki becasue i know a few areas that can be filled and i wont fill them unless im 100% sure that its correct

and if not any area i can help with at all even funding? I carnt fund a very substantial amount but like tesco say

I could probably prepare some WIKI entries as well or make screenshots where necessary...
