Something I have noticed on my latest play throughs, lots of armies and fights are the bread and butter of this game and I’ve seemed to notice a lack of armies compared to prior patches,

Whether this is due to a lack of prosperity ( noticed a lot of cities are struggling even in prior patch cities that had lots of prosperity ex Valandia ) influence nerf or ironically caused by constant wars and exhaustion of factions or whatever the reason may be, for me at least and all my play throughs as of late, the armies are smaller and less frequent,

Lots of armies and lots of battles really are the base of this game and as said prior to these latest patches there were more armies and their fall off should be fixed, perhaps it’s just me, feel free to comment and share if your experiencing something similar / speculate on the causes,

Thank you for any viewership Taleworlds

Probably lack of influence. I was a mercenary in a faction that was getting double and triple teamed. There was no one in the faction that had the influence to make an army. The leader had less than -500.

Yah something is really bad about this, I think the concept of Influence was/is good, but it shouldnt be tied into creating armies in the way it is atleast.

I know its an uphill battle to fight for the Sturgians to start out..
But something need to be adressed when all other enemies field 2-3 armies and our side barlely field 1.
Most cases those armies are very low in terms of manpower aswell 400-500 vs 700-900 armies.

As pointed out earlier, there is lots of lords with negative influence aswell in the faction.
Which dont really help either.

As for the King haveing -500 typically means the lord is very greedy and since they patched in that the King could veto, for a heavy cost, he's prolly used it alot to get his will through.
Like say a town is up for vote, and 60% is favor of candidate a, 20 % king and 20% on the final guy.
Yet the king ends up getting it, cause he used veto.
Since all those other lords cast 20* 6 votes + 20 on the last guy = 140 influence spent on the voteing, the king will need to use 120 influence to force his will through.

You also have lords with low charisma, which is a typical -1 pr day loss of influence and +1 for those with high charisma.
