As the thread title suggested,
It's about the movie "La vita e bella"


It's on TV tonight and from what I've seen it's a great movie.
Don't get me wrong it's about nazi-germany and the "werkkampfen" in which Jews were put, not really a happy subject.

Has anyone else already seen it? What do you think about it ?

You know , it's on the "woman channel" and normall I feel great hatred towards those cheesy romantic teen movies.

But just, the optimism of the father ,in SUCH a situation.

I'm so going to tape it.

I love this movie.  It's actually one of the few Holocaust films that I will watch more than once. 

I thought the idea was really a touching one.  Very good performances all around, and a very good story about humanity and sacrifice. 

Not to mention, the main married couple in the movie (Roberto Benigni and Nicoletta Braschi) are a real life married couple, which added a convincing dynamic.

I finally saw it yesterday,it was programmed to begin at 23o so I decided to sleep in school, and I have to say, it was worth watching.

A nice film,something else then all those action,war movies I watch.

Conclusion: I thoroughly enjoyed the movie.

Ha, "werkkampfen". It's Konzentrationslager (or just KZ in short).

Ah, you know, I can be wrong too

But, I remember a sign with Werkkampf above a concentration camp.
And due to the fact that Dutch (yours and mine mother language) has similarities to Deutsch, which make Werkkampf sound acceptable.
But hell, you're probably right.
