Knocked through the floor siezing Wercheg

Hey all new to this forum (As far as posting goes I've been reading since the .894 version which means I'm still very new)

I first came to find out which archer tier was the best which was promptly solved by searching for it (so long nothing major has changed since the .950 version). I'm playing the .960v of mount&blade and have an ATI card any further information needed will be given as requested.

So heres my problem, in the midst of a battle for Wercheg I jump over the enemy troops blocking the only ladder so that I may use my normal tactic of watching them sit and swing at the ladder while I shoot them all in the back. After all the enemy troops presently at the ladder had fallen I ordered my troops to "follow me" and they began climbing the ladder as if they were just granted the IQ of a normal human being (Instead of just running into the base of the wall). All of my men were ordered to charge and were slaughtered leaving me to face the remaining 120 nord troops (I have a battle size of 400 courtesy of the battlesizer). As I engaged them I was hit by an overhead strike from an axe and knocked through the floor. I cannot retreat due to the "Cannot retreat when nemies are nearby" message. Its sitting minimized, I'm hoping for some helpful advice thanks in advance.

That's just a bug, it doesn't have anything to do with your Video card or PC, you can't really fix this problem I woudn't think it happens all that offten eather

Ah well I've seen worse bugs than this in other games. Guess Ill just save more. Thanks for the clarification.

Something similar happens when you jump at the edges of walls (trying to jump over).
I get "caught" on the edge and slide suspended on the wall until I am unceremoniously dropped on my arse and receive a whopping amount of damage.
The solution - I guess I should stop jumping at walls.

@ Tomwa:
It's a good idea to have at least one other backup save (since this is beta). Sorry about your dilemma though.
