Okay, first off, Knights of Honor was and is one of my favorite games, so after I got a new gaming computer with Vista, I tried installing the game. So, encouraged by the fact that I was able to install it without any kinks, I pressed run, which instantly brought up a error, like this:

Conflict: a kernel problem has occurred. Please disable all Anti-Virus programs and debuggers.

The problem is is that I turned them all off, and still it did not work. I tried converting it's compadibility mode to Windows XP, I tried running it as a administrator, and still it didn't work. So are there any other idea's as to what I should do? I tried to look in the KOH webpage, but apparently thats down. So help please?

What anti-virus program are you running?
Well, to be honest, I don't have one. Well, at least, none that I know of.
Most computers ship with at least a trial version of Norton. Does ctrl-alt-delete still bring up task manager in Vista? If so, see what's running in the background.

Also, are you running it as an administrator?

But I'll check again. Maybe I'm wrong.
