Red panda, and the cutest thing alive.
Maybe the ears and snout are cute, but those eyes are plain disturbing.
Some summers back when I was sitting at yard I saw small hedgehog coming along the wall. It was tiny, maybe about size of my fist, probably that years brood. It was also moving at day, usually they move at night, but it was very hot and dry summer so it might had had problems to find food and was hungry.
Anyway, that adventurous little hedgehog approached me in quick sprints, stopping for a moment in grass bushes and then rushing forward again. I was looking it with interest quietly and wondering is it going to come to my sandals. Yes it did, when it was foot away from my sandals, it took final rush and stormed to bite my pinky toe!
It didn't really hurt, but it was firmly hanging on my toe not letting go. I waved my toes and hedgehog didn't show any intention to let go its prey. It looked really hilarious, until it came to my mind it might had rabies. (it was either nuts or REALLY self confident to try eat me) Then I proceeded to push it from it's nose and after a while it grudgingly let my toe go. It hadn't even broken the skin.
I took my feet to safety and that small hedgehog stormed to attack my sandals which I had left to ground. It was inside the sandals trying furiously to bite them, then it got some plastic part away and tried to eat it, I tried to pull it away from its mouth but it managed to eat small part. It was clearly very hungry so I rushed to kitchen and took some sausage parts which I brought to it and it ate them. Can't remember did I gave it milk. Then after a while that man hunting hedgehog left and I never saw him again.
I wish I would had video camera with me since that tiny creature attacking my toes was really one of the most hilarious and surprising things I have seen.
At least I know now, there is somebody out there who appreciates how my foots smell.
