Kings and Lords vanish?

The last time you saw him, King Harlaus was in wilderness and he was close to Sarmish. (Report is 316 days old)

He is simply gone, I can't do anything I want to because I'm part of the Swadians and I want to rebel. I can't help a claimant. All I can really do is run around not getting anywhere because I have 600 renown but I still haven’t been offered a town and I'm not consider a lord. So I can walk around taking castles for Swadia because nobody else will, and when they try they see some farmers walk past, and get distracted. In the end they can't catch up to the farmers and completely abandon the castle. He's not losing or gaining money either, I think he's trapped in the far seas or something. Please help me, I'm stuck, almost as bad as king Harlaus is stuck in another dimension.

He is probably someone's prisoner. If you don't want to wait anymore, I would suggest you start a new game.

You could also try turning on truesight, ctrl-t (with cheats enabled) and try to find the party he is in, and rescue him.

Post your problem in the bug reports forum, if it hasn't been identified already.

King Ragnar disappeared on me too. I couldn't even find him with truesight, and looked at probably every party on the map. I saved the game, and restarted it, and he was back in his castle, so maybe try that.

Your first problem is that you last say him almost a year ago (316 days old) so the guy could be anywhere on the map.
If you want you can probably ask other lords if they have seen him or you can always cheat with ctrl-t but some guys are hell bent against it.
When i couldnt find a lord when i was playing it was because he had just lost a battle and managed to escape but it took them a few days to appear( maybe to recover from the battle or something)
