Kingdom management questions

I've tried finding an answer to these here on the SoD board, but the answers were either only half relevant, or non existant. So here goes:

1. I am really short on money, so I need as much tax income as possible. Does the income from taxes depend on whether the village/castle belongs to a lord or myself? Does the lord the fief belongs to keep all the money, does it all go to me regardless, or do I get only a portion?

2. Is the relation boost/hit always the same when giving/taking fiefs (-10)? So far, I've been able to give two fiefs to a lord, take them back for myself, then give them back, and the relation remained the same as at the beginning. Can I do that indefinitely, for it would be useful if I could...

3. How do fiefs affect lords that have them, apart from the relation? Do they get more army with more fiefs, or something like that? And how is a good relation with them improving anything?

4. Currently my lords own 3 castles with Knight Chapters, and I own none, so the Nobles are arriving directly to my party. Will I get more Nobles if I take a castle with a Knight Chapter for myself and set it as the arriving destination?

5. What are people who seek spiritual enlightenment good for (chancellor mentions them when I ask about population).

1. You only get money from a fief if you are assigned to it.
2. Yes
3. If your relation gets too low they won't listen to you/won't let you in their fiefs. With more fiefs they get more money, so in a way yes.
4. No.
5. Represents how many people follow your faith.

Bit of clarification?

1. According to the 4.5 notes, you can't hold infinite fiefs for yourself anymore, but vassals will pay you taxes.
2. I've had lords take an extra, large negative hit to relations when I take fiefs away from them (for reshuffling), even if it's not their last fief. Fair warning.
5. Faith rating increases likelihood to get faith troops (through pop-up menu, needs to be trained via marshall and temple/small temple structure.)
