How can this be? There are some lords in the other part of the world doing nothing, for which I am conquering one city after another.

What do I have to do with my army? Of course, not conquering cities, because they give them to other lords.

I'm a tier 3 clan. I already have three settlements, and now, no matter what I conquered, they will never give me a new settlement until I reach tier 4.

So I have to endure the attacks of the enemy, but without conquering their cities, although I could easily do it!!

If I do, the kingdom is going to give the cities to a rival clan and they will never be mine ...

It is stupid.

You can form an army using your companions and then lead it to solo-conquer keeps and towns. This reduces the pool of possible owners to you and the faction's leader. The leader may still override your vote but you'll have a better chance of getting it.

There is a feature for voting of the castle or city assignment. you have to vote for yourself using your influence points. After 24 hours in-game, if you are not voting it will be assigned to the other candidates, you need to learn the system first my friend. There are many new features than the warband version. Try to check the kingdom tab by press "K" after conquering the territory and see. Don't forget to "make friends" with other lords too for getting better votes

If you're a vassal (not a mercenary) after a castle or city is conquered, check the decisions tab of the kingdom menu, as mentioned above. There you can vote on who gets it. However, the faction leader can override this vote, (even a 100 to 0 vote can go to the 0 participant if the clan leader wishes it) however by voting you can influence the outcome and make friends in the faction

I know, I did this in the 3 first settlements I have conquered. But since then, it doesn't matter what you conquer, my clan does not appear in the voting. I have conquered 4 castles and a city and I never appear in the voting. I cannot vote for myself because I do not appear in the vote.

Right now it's luck of the draw unfortunately. And there may be a cool down since you took over a bunch of settlements already, they may be taking their turns with all the other lords so everything is even

Yes, but there is a limit, apparently (it is what I have deduced). My clan is tier 3 and I already have three settlements.

Now, it doesn't matter if I win 20 more, because I never appear in the voting. I have conquered 4 more castles and another city, and I have never appeared in the voting.

Instead, castles and cities go to clans on the other end of the map, doing nothing.

Guess you just gotta level up your clan a bunch more :/

I've had my clan put up for vote 3 separate times after conquering around 5-6ish fiefs during a war in my most recent save. It DOES happen just not sure what the variables are to influence your name appearing there instead of others.

No, I think is related to the tier of the clan. I supposed that in tier 3 you can have only 3 settlements. But this is a s***, because the game is telling me not to conquer cities, to wait for me to go up in tier, when I can conquer this cities easily.

Supongo que solo debes subir de nivel a tu clan un montón más: /

Yes, but it doesn't make sense. Right now I am surrounded by Aserai who are at war with my kingdom, and I could easily conquer their cities. But if I do, those cities will no longer be mine because they will be given to another clan. Has no sense.

¿Sure? I think not, I conquered one of the castles by myself and then I was not in the voting.
So it is not worth spending my senior soldiers to conquer a castle. I have no reward.

I had this issue and never got a settlement after conquering half a dozen. Never was in votes, never could get people to give it to me. Otherwise to some extent I expect a monarch not wanting a general to become too successful or he might ursurp them or found their own kingdom *ahem* the AI is smarter than it looks.

I think the moral is: never become a vassal ... Because if I now declare myself in rebellion, those lords of the Southern Empire will send me armies of 800 and 1000 soldiers, they already have half conquered Calradia and they are about to knock down Battania, who had the other half XD. I think this campaign is over because of the snowball.

I'm having a similar problem right now. I'm losing any chance of voting for myself (I'm clan tier 4 btw with only 3 cities) and I can't get them to allow me ownership even though I have majority vote by a large margin. I'd also like to point out that the last 5 fiefs were all given to the same 3 lords, one of which ran away with far more of them than the others.

It's not balanced. Juliet above said that the clan ruler always has final say, so I think I'm going to try to persuade her to see reason before I take her entire empire for the glory of Rome lol

I mean why would you want to capture that many though? If you are planning to become the one-man army then you should follow the storyline that gives you an option to create your own kingdom, I think you will have more privileges. Otherwise joining another kingdom will put a limitation on you, unless the game has civil war feature and later you can claim the throne of the specific kingdom after killing the current king lol.

Even when you create your own kingdom you can't give yourself all the fiefs unless you banish all the clans in your created faction. lol When your name comes up for election you can be tyrannical and make it yours though regardless of how the npcs vote as faction leader.
