King Arthur Mod?

I see all these outlandish mods... some of which should NEVER be made (but who am I to tell someone what to do with their own time and energy). But with the game setting and mechanics... why do we not have a mod of King Arthur's legend? I saw a thread for a mod dated July of 2008 and it looks like it fell through.

Is anyone else working on something like this? If so, I'd love to help out however I can. I think it would be a fun change of pace to run around under Arthur's banner as a Knight of the Round Table.

A Dream of Eagles is based on an Arthurian historical novel series. But there are no Arthurian legend-oriented mods released yet.

Most of the mods tend to lean towards a historical/warlord trilogy style o' mod rather than the French bastardisation of the stories..

Yeah that's a shame. Would be nice change of pace and the setting/game mechanics couldn't be better.

I believe the stuff to make one, or an approximation, is out there. Roman, Celtic and Viking weapons and armour (notably, blue skins), and even maps of Britain. One would have to ask permission from the makers.

The movie's not really historically accurate though, but I wouldn't be opposed to a mod based on it.

Is the black armor still in the game files? In fact one could make a "quick and dirty Excalibur mod" by giving everyone either normal or black plate.
