Simple-

-# of kills for individual enemy types

-# of kills for individual weapon types (maybe even individual weapons)

-total # of personal kills

-total # of group's kills

-It's something we'd all be interested in knowing.

-It would be easy to implement

-It would give us something to compete with on the message board, making it the closest and simplest thing possible to multiplayer.

*gasp*

I said the m-word

So whatcha think, eh?

I would prefer a counter showing how many enemy troops are left and how many are in reserve as I can't keep up with the scrolling messages and I loose count.

ya, was thinking of this too. there could be all kinds of statistic for flavah, like best shot (difficulty)/ miss-percentage / encounters so far / quests solved / men lost hehe ^^ bleh... whatnot.

YES! on this one

WOOHOO! POSITIVE FEEDBACK!!!!

I see nothing but good things for me on the road of life.

But I don't know about this in-battle '# of enemies left' counter. War is supposed to be more chaotic and hectic than that.

lol yeah positive feedback from even me... *spazum* god damn that last spaz out was big...

Are you talking about the in-battle number of enemies left counter, or the overall kill counter?

Because the overall kill counter would definitely be in the character screen somewhere.

ah alright, but what about a aftermath-report, after every battle.
like: your ppl killed : X by X.
or MVP-Style, so you see who of your men was the rocks and who teh sux.

Oooh, nice.

Someone, I think Ingolifs, once suggested having battles last a bit longer after the last enemy has been killed so you reflect a bit instead of flashing immediately to the loot screen. Maybe during this time a list of kills and statistics can scroll down the screen? And your men could cheer and celebrate on the battlefield as this is happening?

And MVP style- this would work great if each individual unit had randomly generated names, just to give them a bit more character than 'Vaegir Knight'. I haven't searched yet, but I don't think anyone has made a suggestion about that yet (though I think there have been suggestions for random name generators for your own character).

Yay!

An overall kill counter would be great to satisfy the everlusting ego! *remembers Fallout* yummy!

We could even have lists for Marnid and Borcha.

Oh wait, i know Borcha's list. "56 battles fought. 56 knockouts. 1 river pirate. 55 main_chara"

yes! not only the kill shoulda be counted, but also the prisoners made

aaah.. reminiscing.. starcraft anyone? back then, a unit could only have 255 kills, further weren't counted.. (damn oversmart resource-saving coders  ) that sucked, but the counter was pretty cool nonetheless

hmm .. ya names would only be the consequence of this though, and thus titles (100 kills: Swadian Knight Bloodras the Slayer, adding +5 damage etc. )

the jailwarden .. aah .. endless possibilities .. including an alltime-best list... someone already suggested a graveyard?:grin::grin:

and we want perks like in Fallout or Total war

500+ kills - mass murder - your men fear you more then enemy, they obey your orders without delay even if it means death
5000+ kills - Gengis Khan - enemy surrenders on sight nobody dares to oppose you

Just thought I should kick this to the top because Armagan seems to be around

Any chance you think it could be implemented in any way, shape, or form?
