Every Molyneux project always looks interesting during production. It's his special skill.

True, true. If it ends up lacking in features and not living up to expectations that he builds up, then I guess I can wait for it to become cheaper or on sale before buying it.

I believe this is related.

There is this kickstarter thing on Indiegogo called "Save Interplay"

"Its time to end the madness. Help us buy a majority stake in Interplay, and either save her, or give her the funeral it deserves."

They're asking for money to buy the Interplay shares and then maybe sell it to Fargo or just end it. By pledging 10 dollars, you can get an Interplay game of your choosing, should this funding thing become a success.

Herve Caen will never let it go, the greedy French bastard he is. Besides, he's already running a new scam, so he's not going to stop any time soon.

A few interesting games at last!

Sounds very cool, kind of King of Dragon Passy, but the art is BUTTS!

Already backed this one. PENIS SWORDS! Nah, seriously, any game that lets me paint my own character and use it is awesome.

A Mount and Blade ripoff which somehow manages to look worse, while using UE3. o_O

Really now? They have such a talented artist that he has to resort to ripping off self-aggrandizing monstrosities put up by the Soviet Union? That doesn't exactly inspire confidence, if I'm honest.

Well, he boasts about having revolutionary new features, which are ALL present in Warband, so his credibility went out the window right there.

I didn't even read any of that, I just looked at that picture and went "....no".

Edit: So I've watched the video, or bits of it, and holy ****. He clicked the Randomize button in the face editor like three or four times and got faces that looked completely identical! He has a very professional setup, consisting of what I assume is a corner of his bedroom complete with the hum of his computer in the background, he's asking for $7k to finish the game, and he's already planning on milking it with DLC. Ho-lee sheeet. All credit to him, the game does look slightly better than M&B did in its earliest versions, but c'mon.

At least he's only asking for $7k. Although he could probably make that much in a few months or less working for a software company.

Relax, it's not Brokeback Mountains. That 9 minutes video clip is in fact a quite epic

I wouldn't care if it was brokeback mountain.

Just complaining that he used "bro" as a prefix in the first sentence describing the product. And yeah, it bothered me enough to not watch the video, or read anything else about whatever it is.

Well, their story is indeed a wonderful bromance. I don't go around calling people "bro", but in this case I find it quite fitting.

Torment: Tides of Numenera
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/inxile/torment-tides-of-numenera?ref=category

A story-driven CRPG crafted in the tradition of Planescape™: Torment & set in the world of Monte Cook's Numenera. Probably deserves it's own thread( if it doesn't have one already), but it's a little early for that. It was already fully funded almost right out the gate. inXile has put the creative staff  on this new project as they finished up on wasteland 2. Looks decent.

There is a thread on the game here:
