Kick-Ass

Great film, great great film.

Really, really violent, but in a way that you're laughing throughout most of it.

Several scenes were brilliantly done, with the help of Chloe Moretz, an extremely talented actor who at the time of filming was only 11. The choice of music in most parts, the continuous themes running throughout such as subtle hints including a Superhero's theme colour, was well done.

Oh, and Nicolas Cage makes a return as a ****ing awesome actor.

Interesting, though I'm not convinced of the fact that some teen girl seems to be handling the main part.

What do you mean, not convinced? She's one of the best parts.

She's not really leading it though, it's Kick-Ass that does the main narration, etc. She does steal the show, however.

Because shes eleven, and we all know that in reality a little girl can't do all this stuff even thought it's a complete fantasy movie based on a comic.

On the other hand I read the comic a year ago and I think the movie is going to be kick-ass.

Actually, It doesnt bother me anymore. I think It might be just cool. Looking forward to the vilence, The more the merrier.

Just go and watch it...enjoy yourself for once without having to analyse every little thing - it's a funny film and the fact she's a girl isn't off putting it's just amusing.

The scene where she is getting beaten up by the mafia boss shows that she's not invincible, she does get hurt and cannot be killed.

Watched it. Definitely not a good movie. I don't even see what entertaining parts there could even have been. It seemed just "meh" all the time. There's Kick-Ass talking how he feels half the movie and the other half is about the little girl killing anything that moves. I have no problem with the little girl killing people, but there was nothing cool about the action scenes. They were the same you could find in any other action movie. The narrative the Kick-Ass told was also very lame.
