Apparently you missed the whole part of the movie where he's in the yurt with Mongol type peoples(and a few others) saying the "crush your enemies" line. That and two of his sidekicks are reminiscent of Mongol type characters of the steppe.

Conan was Cimmerian, which has no co-related nation except for maybe Battania. His adventures, though, took him all over the place.
Also, Khuzaits are cheesy to play with. Like Khergits in WB, it's too easy, takes strategy and throws it out the window. Specially given that the game is still broken towards enemy armies after certain point, then your horse arches will be shooting recruits and thinking they are good, when in fact they are just pussies on horses. Although surviving as the player is harder in BL, which is great, I cannot cheese my way by back-pedaling or solo an entire army as a horse archer

A Conan-eske thing to do would be to play Battanians and kill Khuzait horses with your fists

you mean he lives down there, but he's still cimmerian... Well then, must play a Battanian under Aserai then... And kill Khuzait horses with your fists

That Conan quote is a pretty direct rip off from a (probably historically inaccurate) quote attributed to Ghenghis Khan anyhow, but its not like Conan is known for being well written. Its just silly fun.

Also, tbqh, in the current state of M&B games, the AI is dumb and any army can cheese it. In WB if you knew how to use Rhodoks you could wreck people, and cheesing with Khuzaits took more effort than just running Knights/Mamlukes through everyone. Until AI can use decent strategy pretty much anything that isn't a full frontal charge is cheesing the AI.

I will always hate horse archers, even though I still play horse archer because "mechanics".
