Khuzaid needs love!

Khuzaid nerf is too great, its dissatisfying. %20 town tax penalty and worst cultural bonus ever? I want to roleplay a Khuzaid warlord but I cant bring myself to choose them! I even opened an Empire character and made him look like a Khuzaid ?
Khuzaid cultural bonus/penalty needs rework ASAP!
 
Khuzait, Vlandia, Sturgia all suck, really.

Empire is slightly better because of how convenient being Empire culture is for loyalty. Aserai is decent for traders.

The only one that's really consistently substantial for the player is Battania, which saves so much time and gives you so much catch/escape advantage it basically is just better than everything else which only gives you more statistical trade-offs.

Right now most of them just aren't very interesting in terms of impact on your gameplay. It feels like they were afraid to commit to bigger advantages and disadvantages for the sake of relative balance, but the result is kinda... just blandness.
 
Yeah. I'm also all for balancing the AI separately and letting the player have a culture boon for gameplay. I get that's it's really hard to try and have the NO-SNOWBALLING balance and have each faction get a good ability too, so maybe just the player can get an ability and the AI can be ALL-LOOK-SAME.
Of course, the more the AI behaves like the player the better, but that ball has been dropped and kicked down the street long ago. Maybe now it's more how can we make this game fun and interesting to the player, more then trying to have some simulation of opponents? I also think it's okay to have multiple "okay" bonuses rather then 1 killer one.

Why not give vlandia the +10% exp on top what they have? People where bananas over it (even when it wasn't coded in lol), I never though it was good, but others do, why not pile that on with their questionable merc bonus. Also, maybe they can keep 1/2 infleunce when they drop a contract, that would be good too. Or maybe they can own a fief and still take a contracts. Yeah I know that would take work, but that would add a new gameplay option

And where did Sturgia's snow bonus go? They may have coded it wrong and made it too good (if you say so...) but it would be fine to put a fixed version on top of what they have. I would go futher and make the area of the middle of strugia always count as snow so the they could always ge through it faster, since this is a major problem for the sturgia central area.

For Khuzaits I really miss their speed bonus, how about it's only for steppe and plains and have increased penalty for cavalry speed in forests? I know this is thin ice and could make them rollers again, but what they've got now is just garbage.
 
Yes, I am not happy Vlandia bouns, it's just mercenaries forced, petty much useless for those who want vlandia but not play as mercenaries, I rather to had cheaper wage of knight and crossbow stacked with skill for Vlandia over exp and mercenaries, +10% exp is limited, not longer term, so I think every culture should had little bit cheaper wage for same culture of troop for cheaper wage, but other culture stay cost but not get cheaper wage somethin like that, I think it's make sense and logic, same culture as player's background culture get cheaper wage for troop and map speeds much better than difference culture's troop, I don't think it's need penalty for try to get difference culture troop, but same culture get cheaper wage along stack with skill and perk.

I mean it's might every culture got cheaper wage of same culture troop, little bored same bouns for all culture but useful and same time, it's balance for all culture easy, rather than one culture had better than other, so go on.
