This mod's animations are truly amazing. They're a pain in the ass to learn at first, but when you get a hang of them you become awed at how realistic and awesome good duels look

Ah, you are one of the gay bros.

Why do you call us the Gay bro's? >_>

EDIT: Call it whatever you want, me and Snipz are Battle Bro's.

This is without exaggeration the worst mod i've ever played for warband. The idea can be attractive to some  i guess, but it seems like you guys released an unfinished product. Points of attention that i suggest are:

* Animations: They are very random, awkward and don't seem to actually show what is happening.
* Armor: You can't make an estimate of the strength of your enemy's armor, it's all just pretty colors and what not.
* Throwing weapons: Enemies of mine seemed to survive no less then 15 hits to the head with a katana, but when i selected heavy armor to spawn with the next round  i got killed by a dart of some kind in my foot.
* Faction & Troop names: Looks fancy and all but you might want to add some description.

I'll be uninstalling.

Seriously?

Might have to throw one of those swords at you...

Damn right it is, I am sure the modder teams are expanding the mod as we speak with some spiffy new content.

If that's the case, since there is one of those crossbows that fire as if they were gunpowder, can you devs involve Arquebusier rifles (emphasis on rifles)? More accurate (not really in real life, but hey! This game is fantasy), and amp up the angry farmers? I mean I can fight against them and literally slaughter dozens of them because of how weak their armor and weapons are, when they smack across my hardened Gosuko Sodenshi armor, it barely deals any damage but 1, even the advanced troops aren't that powerful, and they are the underdog faction that makes it up in numbers that are easily defeated. I am sure the rest of the users here can agree that the angry farmers are the easiest faction to defeat with just 50 men against an army of... 300.

Unless the aim was to make them all rely on vast numbers and all. But anyways, keep up the good work, I look forward to more of Samurai smack action.

Edit notes:

Well, I looked up through some files through cheatmenu, turns out there is the Tanegashima and that pistol Ita something, and found out that they are pretty functional for the player, but it's pretty bugged on the CPU friend companions. I tested it out with my companions and told them to hold fire, which caused a crash at my M&B session. When I tried it out on my own, it was perfectly fine. But that's why they aren't in the main game, right? Because they are bugged? Which has to do with the function of the AI not being clean and overloading from the pure awesome of gunpowders eh?

If so, you know what those chaps at 1755 frontier mod did to remedy that potential problem? They turned all firearm rated weapons to be crossbows instead, probably why they overrided the crash, a pretty conniving and smart ploy on their part which goes past the problem. Credits to Gab and his team, not stealing their idea or anything, just posting what I noticed.

*Animations: are realistic as in real life every strike or block is not predicable.
*Armor: since when is armor colour coded so u can tell what the strength is??? these are realistic armors of the era deal with it.
*Throwing weapons: The armor at this point wasnt very stab resistant. and guess what THROWN weapons happen to impact like a stab. Go QQ some more. Plus the "Boots" are more like Shin pads with little shoes, as in no real armor on the actual foot. ( dont tell me getting a fatal shot in the foot isnt realistic cuz i know... its the warband engine so deal with it or find a new game.)
* Faction & Troop names: Again they are realistic. as for description im sure he will add some later. hes not ******** god ffs.

Thats my opinion on your rage ;D

You do realize that shuriken were meant as a distraction, not a lethal weapon, right (and while we're at it I might as well point out that shinobi didn't even fight on a battlefield...)? Anyways, I don't care if THIS mod is unrealistic. It's still fun to play. ^^

Out of a personal request from me, I'd appreciate it if you could test them out as well, you can use Morghs tools and edit the compiled troops txt and give them the guns directly to see if it effects all computers.

I'm currently continuing to rebuild the animations from scratch.

If any of you would like to suggest something please use this google doc to type it in, it contains changes for a new version and a bulleted list of suggestions as well

Just played this mod. Was not realistic at all, combat was kind of dim, weapons ridiculous. I played on the Bushido_Kengeki server where kick polls were rampant due to people being upset about losing. Animations leave a lot to be desired, not my kinda thing I suppose. I also hate "anime" inspired stuff, thought this was a bit more classy but no, no it is not...

Did it anywhere say realistic? Nope

Does it have japanese girls in clothes that are too small for them that smile and giggle? Nope

There are 3 Kengeki servers up, you could host your own if you want.

Just because the mod has different style weapons doesnt mean its instantly anime, its meant to be for fun.

You could play Shogun if you wanted realism.
