First of all, I would love to see every town become like Zendar because that just gives more feeling to the game.
But I would also like the city menu to stay. Right now I move slower then a snail, because I have heavy armor, but 0 in athletics. It takes quite long to get from one side of a room to the other when you can barely move
Zendar is even worse to do, unless i drop all my equipment in my inventory and walk around half naked.
So here is my idea:
- Make the other cities like Zendar
- You enter the city as in Zendar by default, so no menu
- When you press tab you get the city menu, which can move you around the city. In Zendar it could place you right next to the tournament guy for example.
This way you got a choice to either do things very quickly or in a normal way. The good thing about Zendar is the feeling that you're in a city. The good thing about the city menu is that you can move around quickly. So, keep both in the game because both are good... and add a city-menu to Zendar in the next patch
