No, I didn't use any mods.
Summary:
So, basically what has happened is that I tried playing Bannerlord today in which I noticed something weird going on in which the auto saves kept failing to save. I thought nothing of it until an hour later when I tried doing a normal save and keep getting the "Save Failed" error in which I also noticed that my configs were not being saved as well giving me the "Cannot create config Data". I am very confused what has happened since the game was saving just fine 2 days before. I have tried validating the game files, uninstalling and redownloading the game, allowing the exe of the game and launching with my antivirus software (webroot), tried turning off my antivirus software temporarily to see if it helped, and restarting my PC, as well as moving some of my old saves out of the saved game folder to see if that help. All of these did not work and I am just kind of stuck here confused on what to try next. If someone has a possible solution I would greatly appreciate hearing about it.
How to Reproduce: Try to save the game also try to change a config file setting

Saving Failures

If you are encountering issues with saving the game, you can try the workaround below to fix it:
  • Please make sure that the game is on the controlled folder access allowed apps list in your security software. If you are using Windows Defender:
  • Open Windows Defender Security Center.
  • Click on Virus & threat protection.
  • Click the Virus & threat protection settings option.
  • Under "Controlled folder access," click the Allow an app through the Controlled folder access link.
  • Click the Add an allowed app button to add Bannerlord.

Have the same problems on Xbox, for months, and everytime I come on these forums there is no actual fix, you give work around and such but it shouldn't be happening to begin with. And nothing I see on here helps anyone but the people on PC. So how do I fix it, on Xbox, without losing this playthrough that I've put so much time into before this started happening?
