Just understood I find out an exploit for instant healing...

I fought a battle having freshly recruited units vs an enemy which was keeping several high level prisoners. I won the battle and all of my freshly recruited troops were unconsious, so I "uncaptured" them and took the high level prisoners on their slots... and suddenly all the unconsious units become full health "rescued prisoners"... So if I had a place for them I could take them all back and voila - instant healing for them!

And when you do this, they also lose any experience they'd been gaining in your party, resetting them to the standard level of their troop type and thereby keeping them from upgrading. It's not as foolproof as you think.

What's exploity about that? You just kick out some unconscious guys (not too hard given their condition  ) and take others instead of them (who happen to be the same unit type).

His troopers that he went into a fight with all got knocked unconcious, he fired them and they became wandering rescued prisoners in full health that could have joined him if he hadn't already replaced them with better guys. It could be an exploit but I won't bother using it on purpose. Maybe it could be reported on the bug page. Savatage! now that brings back some memories.

The trick is most itnerestign for top level troops - since they're can't level further, who care if they lose some experience...

Yes thats exactly what it is. Cant believe that nobody found this out sooner and would have posted about it!

Sounds like too much trouble for too little gain... After all, you can just sleep a couple of times in the inn - won't cost you much :???:

If you have a bunch of prisonerless khergits and dark hunters hot on your tail, resting might not be an option.

You can do this only in the after-the-battle screen, so there must be at least 1 unconsious enemy or 1 prisoner. But in the larger battles you almost always have unconsious enemies.
It may even work just by "uncapture" and "capture" again the unconsious troops without leaving the screen.
