The moment I saw a perk "Everything has a price" I thought that it would be fun to "conquer" whole map without fighting. Well, it turned out that I can't make a faction without following main quest and also reaching 225 in trading was the opposite of fun, but I still did it. Perk is broken now - you can buy all fiefs from a lord for 1 denar and he can also give you a lot of money on top of it.

It was day 1278 when I finished trading without joining anyone the whole time. Map was split in half by Vlandia and Khuzait.

It took me around 90 days to find all lords that had fiefs and buy all their lands. Now I'm just a guy who owns all Calradia, not a faction =)

My fiefs can't even fit in my tooltip =) Also, I get 5 renown/day from my caravans thanks to another trading perk, that's how my clan is tier 5 with almost no fighting (killed looters from time to time if I saw a very large group of them).

And I'm gaining a lot of influence from my fiefs but can't spend it because I'm not a part of any faction.

How long did it take you to get your trade skill that high?
4 days of trading. Around 10 hours each. I was doing some tournaments from time to time when I was bored. It's quarantine until April 30 in my place, so I can grind as much as I want =) I reloaded separate save before buying any fiefs and started working on smithing =)

Currently i'm operating the only smithy, pottery, and woodshop in all of calradia though so all the trade flows straight to my capital (and all the hardwood)
