Just bought Morrowind and two expansive packs, need help

Since I am new to morrowind and their two of expansive pack, what should I do next?

I want to keep these game up to date while installing any of RECOMMENDED mods from any of you, and I would like to play this game to full echanced version.

I am hoping that someone would be glad to enlistment me and would show me where and when I can have a good start for this game.

I used to play this game for X-BOX, but thats only first version of morrowind, and now this time, I finally got all these games for my pc!

I Had big problems, when trying to load game, then I got CTD!

I got this from warning notepad:

hm... i remember i got sruff like that once... i got that after fiddling around with the construction set :lol:

um... i suggest reinstalling

if not, maybe a patch?

I uninstalled whole of these games, and I would like to get an advice from any of you morrwind veterans.

Which games should I install first, and what patch should I install?

What I am doing is installing The elder scroll III: Morrowind, then bloodmoond, and finally tribunal.

Am I doing right thing or not?

Actually, it should be Morrowind, Tribunal, then Bloodmoon. Maybe that's what did it.

and well... i usually install it morrowind then tribunal then finally bloodmoon. I wouldnt have thought it would make much differance tho...

maybe you need to change the video settings, you know when the autorun box thingy comes up? go to options or whatever its called and maybe tone it down. Thats all i can think of doing at the moment, i would be more helpful if i had it installed.... anyway good luck!!

OK, now about patch.. Should I patch Morrow to the latest version, then tribunal and patch it, and finally bloodmoon and patch it?

That's probably a good idea, just to be sure.

::edit:: Looking at the patch page, you don't need to install the first morrowind patch if you have tribunal installed. Just use tribunal and bloodmoon patches.

Therefore, according to an official website of Morrowind, it said something about patches:

**DO NOT INSTALL if you have already installed the
Tribunal expansion.**

So, I'd have to install morrowind, then Tribunal and patch it INSTEAD of patching morrowind itself?

Here in Memphis it does get rather hot in the middle of the summer. Good old heat-stroke weather, gotta love it.
Actually we're supposed to get frost tonight though. Weather's gone kinda funny, shouldn't be that cold this early in the year...

Better bodies, see if there's any texture packs that catch your eye. Then I'd just play the morrowind main quest. Try to get through the game at least once, then dive into the mods.

And a head pack to go along with better bodies. Better Heads (natch) is a good one.
