Joining the "baddies"

Apart from the Swadians and Vaegirs where you can take sides, in every other battle you are deemed to be joining the "good" side (you join manhunters against pirates/bandits etc. you join an army side against the same, you join peasants/refugees against bandits). Could there be a choice to join the other side? Also, if you click on peasants, farmers, refugees etc. if you were "evil" wouldn't you kill or enslave them? Of course, it may mean some of your followers would desert, not wanting to be known as slavers (or generally bad), and it would mean manhunters may hunt you - but it's just allowing another side to be explored...

I always wondered why you can't attack refugees or peasants. I mean countless of times I have rode up to a group of peasants thirsty for blood and hungry for steamed brains.. Countless of times, my troops have goaded over the refugee virgins, but alas unable to deminish their obyss.. I guess I am currently stuck robbing from the rich (caravans) and killing the poor (river pirates), but unable to devour innocent peasants or disembowel refuges. Would be nice if you could have a list of options for encountering ANY party on the map, something like:
"attack"
"talk"
"trade" (by trade I mean you are actually able to trade goods, slaves, and maybe even hire some new troops from them)
"leave em' alone"
"taunt them into attacking you so that you can 'defend yourself'"
(ok maybe the last one is un-nesessary ::P)

I have a feeling something like this is already going to be there in full version though (hopefully) ::D
