Join faction as vassal crashes the game

Does anyone else experience this issue? The game crashes every time I try to join the faction as vassal:

I am not sure if this might be caused by my mod but I don't think so. Essentially the mod is just campaign map and clans/heroes names.

Are using any mods? Try turning them of if you have any.

I had this issue with the last patch, this one I can play through on campaign as sandbox doesnt appear to be stable as of this comment. Where I am crashing now is Clan Succession, right after selecting an Heir and starting to play as them.

1.6.3 fixed this issue. I can join the kingdom as vassal now.
