Jim Henson's The Storyteller

I don't think there's a thread about this, but there definitely should be. Two seasons of it are on Netflix right now, one of fables, and one of Greek myths. Enhance by Jim Henson's very good puppets. It's still a kid's show, but much darker than other television series for children. Maybe that's why I never heard of it before. Check it out if you can.

Saw the soldier which was quite well done. The puppets are somewhat disturbing haha

Yeah they are! I quite like the way they put together the show.

I also like how there's not really any contrived moral lessons to the stories being told.

I remember those. It's the old man and the dog.
The stories are very good but also scary when I was little 
I don't remember that many puppets though. It was mostly humans with heavy makeup and excessive costumes

The voices too. The dog is Hoggle from Labyrinth. Plus there's Sean Bean too.
