Also some people run outside the boundaries of the field and up into the stands.  I dont know if this is an intended part of the game or not, but it happens with the players who randomly join without reading the rules or anything and I thought id put it out there.

Letting everyone know that I'm working super hard on 1.3.0 and I think I'm close to figuring out how to enforce borders. Expect the release in a couple of days.

Sorry for double post. I don't have a lot of time, but 1.3.0 has been released! Boundaries are now enforced, both throwing and running with the ball out them. If you do either, a message will be displayed telling everyone the consequences. Additionally, you score as soon as you cross the line now, as a lot of people requested. The map has been tweaked and fixed for the update.

Anyways, feel free to join and enjoy! I consider this mod "tournament ready" so I expect we'll see one before the month is over. Better get some practice in

I updated the OP tremendously. I think it looks a lot better and I added some credits to the "development" section.



1.3.1 has been released! I fixed an issue with players spawning at flags, not the goal. I also added a server message detailing who scored the goal. I may add more messages, like passes and the like as well. This will help for people streaming a game of Javby.

I have been quite busy as of late, not even being able to work on the mod really. But, yes, I have been trying to schedule some sort of event. It would probably be at least mid April before it is up and running though.

DoF almost always has enough to field at least one team and we already played couple of matches with other clans (GK & Fearless).

Hello everyone. The past couple of months have been incredibly busy for me, but nonetheless, I am still working on Javby.

1.3.4 will be the next release and it is coming along nicely. The reason for this new release is because of a bug that causes players not to catch the javelin for an unknown reason. This creates a random game mechanic that I find unfair and not good for the mod. That said, expect a release later this week.

Also, an event may or may not be in the works. Stay tuned.

Hello all, I have some very pleasant news about Javby!

Development of 1.3.4 is finally ramping up. I am doing a lot of balancing in this update, which is why it is taking a bit of time for it to be released, that and my busy schedule. Either way, it looks like we are going to be getting close to our first tournament. I won't go into too much detail about the tournament, just be prepared to have a team ready. Most likely, when we get the tournament set up, registered teams will have their own field designed much like DoF's was designed.

If you're interested in playing, don't hesitate to join DoF when we play. It will be good practice for the tournament!
