Thanks for the response HHUK. I've got another question though. Why do the Russian foot soldiers walk around barefoot? Not complaining -- I actually think it's pretty funny -- just curious.

inside the rar file there should be a file called japan vs mongolia, extract that folder to (you will need winrar to extract the folder www.rarlabs.com)

c:/program files/mount&blade/modules/

where c is the letter of your drive and assuming you installed mount and blade in the default directory

Great wrk on this mod, it's looking and playing amazingly

Just thought I'd pop in to say that in Kyoto when you speak to the ruler in the castle, it gives you the option of joining Mongolia, not Japan.

I don't see a buglist, and I'm in the middle of playing  , so ...

1. I went to join a fight between a pirate crew(?) and manhunters. The dialog screen came up, but I couldn't click the mouse and join the fight. It was a dead-end dialog screen. Had to ALT+F4 out of the game.

EDIT: Confirmed with another battle involving a pirate crew and a different enemy.

2. Ymira doesn't get the extra money after battles (she had 2 gold, all Companions reported to get 30 gold after battle, she had 4 gold total only.)

3. Kyoto has Mongolian Count.

I've seen the same problem 1.  For me, it's one particular pirate crew that is causing the crash.  If I attack that group,  I see the pirate, and he says his little bit, but then the game just stops without showing my reply, or going to the dialog to attack, leave, etc.  I have a save game that can reliably reproduce the bug, if you want.

I really like the mod, although I think the 6-shot pistol for the Russian is way out of balance.  If I recall, the first revolvers were pepperbox models, where you had to load each barrel individually, which took forever.  Why not increase the reload time to 6 times as long to balance out the pistol in the game?  It'd still work great for that first charge, but then you'd have to switch to your sword, unless you could find a quiet place to reload it.

Okay guys, as you can see I've not been around for a while to work on anything.

I've been working full time, doing odd morning shifts and a few midnight shifts, leaving me with 4 hours sleep each night, illegal to do so... but I suppose it earns me money.

I only have 2 shifts next week so I plan on releasing a re-vamped version of this without the bugs. Strange thing is, I've never had the pirate bug on my PC but whenever I play it on my sister's PC I get it, strange eh?

Anyway, I'm planning some new content but I'm not sure how much of it would get in the final version. I'll take all suggestions in and consider them, especially the 6-shot pistol one. Now to search for new items to add.

gr8 you're back m8

actually, it hangs alot (i have to restart system every time). not just when fighting pirate crews. but also when fighting mountain bandits (sometimes) for example. all in all it hangs perhaps 1000% more often than native. that's a bit too much too allow smooth gameplay. But please, keep up the good work! I like the different NPC's (though that mongolian one is a BIT too developped already...).
I like to give every NPC a different weapon combination. so why not add one or two more? perhaps a low armor mongolian horse archer? with a scimitar off-hand.
and an english arquebusier, with a halberd (or another long weapon off-hand), opposed to the Russian lady (that prefers the pistol-pete way).

If you want me to, I can come up, with some initial story for these two.
Also I can provide some chatter, that will be triggered (every day, or night) after certain points. It should be possible (with Borcha it's quite the same).

Looking forward to your additions!

im having a bit of difficulties finding enemies...i wanted to check how it was to attack a castle, and it says that there are about 25 archers and 5 chavlery(or something like that) but when the attack begins, there are no one on the walls or in the castle...it pops opp: press Tab, you've won the battle...and i "freeroamed" the map and i couldnt find any enemies anywhere...
what is wrong here :?:
