I'm trying to retexture some horses, and before everything worked fine. But now when I try to load the game up, it keeps giving me an error reading "Too many variation on mesh".

EDIT: Found an answer to the _0.dds problem. Help on the first one is still muchly appreciated.

Anyone know why?

Retexture? Make sure that you only change texture file (dds one), and save dds in the same format as before
If you make new uv mapping ont of new texture well, I dunno

theres a space or character that's not showing in the text or edit mod.

i'm thinking your working it through item_kinds1.txt

try recopying the original line and editing just one of the new horses in at a time. maw

Ok I think I've found out what it was. The python line linked it to a different mesh than I had the horse on in the brf file. I think... fixed it though for the moment. So if anyone else has this issue a quick fix would be to find the normal python line for the horse you are using the mesh of and alter it. (many already know this but when I looked on the forums I didn't find anything really descriptve)
Ex: Hunter mesh? Take the hunter line from the item_kinds1.txt and alter it by putting in your horse's name/texture name where it says "hunter" or "hunting_horse" Note that the python lines ar case sensative. Hope it's of use for those who don't know.

Oh! I couldn't find my topic at first and looked up my old posts; didn't spot the other replies. Thanks for the help that's what I did.
