I've lost my Borcha!

So I was doing one of those rescue the kidnapped girl missions however didn't have a free slot in my party. So I told Borcha to go meet me at the 4 rivers...Where is he?
The 4 rivers is a big empty rocky place with no Borcha. I remember it used to be a big empty grassy place where your characters could be sent, so what is happening here?

This is a bug in 0.703. The new version 0.704 addresses this issue. Try installing that.
