It's time for a new MMORPG!

Alright, I looked through the threads, and if someone has pushed this, it's buried pretty far down. I am now officially addicted to this relatively simple but incredibly enjoyable game. Massive kudos to Taleworlds. I have played the tactical portion with my clan-mates many times, but what we are missing is a strategic element. There were rumors that Warband 2 would be more of an MMORPG experience, but they died out. Yes, I know that a game of that type invites hackers, but in a close clan situation with dedicated servers, those hackers can be quickly identified and almost completely locked out.  I would love to see the overland map as part of a true persistent world, with players able to join forces together or against each other to interact with the map just as the player does today. I would love to see this game get to a point where villages can be encouraged to grow into towns with proper management, where players can construct strongholds at key strategic points, and where trade becomes not just a way to make some cash, but an essential when faced with real opposition from other players. I would also like to see the marketing improved in North America; the only reason why the game can't grab more market share here is because most potential consumers aren't aware that it exists. This game has the potential to be huge, because it has a gritty and frustrating reality to it, and even when it makes you shake your head, it causes you to go back for more instead of walking away. It's time, Taleworlds; time for your small studio to take this wonderful product to the top.
