Honestly guys, this is unacceptable. I get that save files can get corrupted and everything since it is in early access. I am willing to forgive that. But give me a way to get my character back from a previous save and place him into a fresh one. Or a cheat so I can match my new character to have the same stats as my guy from my currently corrupted save. I am ok with having 0 renown, 0 money, and restarting the, surprisingly good start, main questline. Just give me a way to make my 40 hour grind be worth it in the end...

Don't get me started on bugs that let me down:
• Black rectangles in my most anticipated first battle in the game.
• Infinite loading screen when entering Pan Cannock (IDK if it's been patched yet because I was too scared to enter it after crashing a few times entering it.)
• Family Feud questline screw-up
• Hard crashing when pressing P for some reason.
• Hard crashing when entering sea raider hideouts.
In spite of this, the game was still good enough that I was able to ignore all of the bugs.

In the midst of this damn quarantine and chill era of the world, I do not want to start another save knowing that my character to will be stuck in the void of corruption never to be seen again after a few loading and saving. I love this game since it lets you decide your story, kind of like Skyrim but better in creating your story-wise, and it actually demoralized me when I saw that they patched it only to let me down one last time after it worked for only 10 minutes. I hard crashed, then the save is corrupted once again.

I know this will be an awesome game, I specifically loved executing lords, but right now it is broken and unplayable, figuratively and literally. It is not worth $45 right now, even with the sale. I love y'all at Tale Worlds, but this is ain't it.

I read every single dev blog and updated my PC to be strong enough for my hype for this game. I guess I have to wait another 8 years. It is not HaRvEsTiNg SeAsOn just yet.

Here's an idea: Periodically delete old saves you're not using.

"I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO YOU ABSOLUTE DINGUS!"

You're right. You shouldn't. But you do, for now. There are unhappy people and there are problem solvers. It's up to you which you'd rather be.

Well the thing is, I never saved with "save as." I only have two saves. save_auto and save_001. So IDK if you want me to delete save_001 and save again as "save_002" orrrr.... I would love it if this was a solution, but it unfortunately isn't.

Also, I made a new fresh save, save loaded 56 times with "save as" creating new saves deleting the prior save file and it got corrupted. Again, I probably should have mentioned that too, but I thought I didn't have to. Your "idea" leads to the same thing...

I'm guessing you haven't hit the 45 mark yet.

Here we go again. For the 10000th time:

this is beta
there are many bugs and unfinished parts
This is not the finished product

Uh... yeah, that does not mitigate the issue.

Again, I know that this will be an amazing game, but waiting for 8 years and checking up on it all the time and paying $45 dollars upfront the moment it was released is not patience? IDK about you, but $45 is a lot for some people. 40 hours of playing, or I guess play testing, is not patience either?

I'm just saying that it is a major disappointment. In 8 years of development, they couldn't perform one in-depth play-testing where they play for more than 40 hours and find this problem?????

Doesn't it feel distressing knowing that every time you load your save, you are one step closer to never playing it again.

I do play with that in mind which is why I don't commit to a serious playthrough at the moment. I have fun without getting too connected to my character. I see this release more like a "sneak peak" on what's to come.
Believe it or not the game will be in a stable state at some point and Im sure your issue will be resolved soon.
