Well if I ever get my mount and blade working again (god damnit friggin... damn... Russian conspiracy... all Ludial's damn fault... *mutter mutter mutter* ) I was wondering that, after helping good old claiment dude onto the throne they supposedly deserved and being the top notch marshal that you are, does the newly enthroned king or queen leave you're party? Cause I find it kind of annoying to have the claiment with me 24/7... it makes treason very hard to plot! Not important, just a curiosity

if you completed the qeust or failed it.
(well i don;t really know if he/she will leave if you failed it since i've never failed.)
I don't think you can fail it, but you can speak to the claimant and give up, in which case he or she will leave Calradia and never return (same as if the faction to which he or she is a claimant is eliminated or wins, since then there's nothing to claim and nowhere to hide respectively). I've never done that so I have no idea what happens to the lands and lords in that case.

Yes he'd leave your party. And with all the equipments you have given him. Remember to strip him before you fight the last battle!

It's funny when I saw the last claiment I help sitting on some lame/swaybacked horse and, wearing a woman's boot, and riding naked

Next time I'll do it to the lady!

I did it out of curiosity.
Lords, castles and towns return back to the original kingdom. Apparently no one gets mad at them for joining the rebellion.
