Items by Faction

Does anyone have any info on item lists sorted by the towns they are found in so I can just look at the list to see what is sold where?

Basically I'm just looking for a list so I can, for example, look at "hunting crossbow" and see all the towns it could possibly be sold in.
I've been looking around but can't seem to find an item list with this info included. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You won't find a list.  The shop inventories are randomized at the start, and will change slightly if you leave and come back at a later date.  In other words, you can't depend on any specific item being in a specific place from one game to the next, and it will change from there as the game proceeds.

You might be able to find the overall list of items and their spawn probabilities at various levels.  It would be nice if faction-specific stuff was MOSTLY limited to being sold in towns of the corresponding faction, as is done with some trade goods which appear more frequently in specific villages or towns.

It seems to me that as I go through the game certain armor/weapon styles are distinctly unique to one faction or another and you'll only find them being sold in cities that originally belonged to that faction at game start...

For example... I've never found Nord style armor being sold in Swadian cities... Just wondering if there is an easy to use list out there somewhere.

Not too hopeful of that at this point though.

Considering that I've found Swadian white tabards over mail being sold in cities of every faction, Vaegir/Khergit banded armor everywhere, as well as Nord hauberks and various other faction-specific pieces all over the map, I'm not seeing what you claim.  There may (or may not) be some pieces which are flagged as unique to a specific location, but I haven't come across any obvious evidence for it in weapons and armor.  Trade goods are another story completely, and there are DEFINITELY higher odds of finding specific goods in quantity in certain areas.

I've played through a bunch of times and have NEVER found say Swadian style full plate in Rhodok cities or Sarranid lances in Khergit cities.... Some items are "common" and are sold all over the place but I've NEVER found purely nord style armor ANYWHERE other than Tihr, Sargoth, Wercheg....

In fact i've NEVER seen any swadian tabards over chain sold in ANY of the starting Nord cities.... Every single saved game I have has the exact same armor options possibly available in Sargoth... NOT ONCE have I found swadian full plate style armor in Sargoth.... Try finding a swadian style bucket helm with horns ANYWHERE other than a swadian city, I've never been able to in ANY of my play throughs so your statement seems highly doubtful...

Sarranid lances in Khergit cities....

Here is the problem.  There are no Sarranids in original Mount & Blade.  You're posting this in the Mount & Blade forum, but talking about Warband.
