I am having problems getting a massive shield I scaled up to slow the character/holder down enough. It seems like shield's weight does not effect warband as much as a weapon's weight does. Any suggestions on how to slow the player who equips the shield down other then trying to do with by just increasing shield weight numbers.  I tried Imod_heavy as well.  Thanks!

Maybe it's a Warband bug? Report it?

What's wrong with setting a weight to 255 kg? If it does not slow the player then it's definitely a bug

do I have to add kg to the weight modifier?  I dont think I do. So I set it at 100 and 1000 and still moving pretty fast.  It seems to work for weapons but no shields. Added "kg" and nothing.
