It'd be good, if they changed the board games

so instead of playing some confusing board game, (which I don't think they even work properly), instead when you sit down for a board game it loaded up warband. That'd be pretty good

All board games worked for me , which are historically correct. Maybe they could add new games ? Ludas Latrunculorum - Royal game of Ur - Wari - Halma.

I do agree that the board games are rather lackluster. I'd even prefer a dice game, but I guess that's not very "lordly." Hopefully this gets some attention at a later date.

Warband as a "board" game in Bannerlord? I am intrigued.
Would probably be outlawed everywhere for propangda against the state, but well... maybe in backalleys...

I have to disagree. I enjoy the board games very much and find myself playing them often. The only one which doesn't work properly is I think the Vlandian one which has missing textures.

That makes no sense? Anyways board games have no use with lords, they dont improve relation at all so??

Back when they worked beating a lord increase your relation with his clan by 1 point. But now I can't get them to play, I ask and they accept but instead of going to the table and sitting down they just stand there like they had been. Also I too enjoyed the board games. iirc the game gave you instructions and even if it didn't you can always find how to play online if you wanted to give it a try.

Spotted the dev. "I enjoy them very much and play them often". If you enjoyed them that much then why are they still broken? Get off the forums and get back to programming.

I barely understood the game I was playing (the one with the blobs moving up and down the board) but I completely devastated the AI, which had absolutely no clue. I had bribed my way into the palace, destroyed the queen with facts and logic, and all she does is say "you won. Imma head out now" with a blank expression. I kicked her into a corner but she still ignored me, and that's when I realised that this is the real Yandere Simulator.

Pssst yes its me Armagan but don't tell anyone.

I played a board game once and got one point of relation with some minor doofus that had been made governor. It seemed like a lot of fiddling around for just one point of relation. This was the only time that I bothered to try one of the board games and I an not at all interested in repeating the experience.

On a related note, if a lord is just -1 relation with you, he or she won't consent to playing a game. You can't get any missions from them either. One hint of negativity and you are mostly boned from improving the relationship. You could vote for them in a council vote, but that just makes you extra enemies.

?‍♂️

The threshold for missions is -10, not -1. You can also improve relations by gifting stuff in the barter window or gifting influence (i.e. supporting the clan) in the kingdom menu. Also, if you jump in to help them in a battle you can get a pretty hefty relations boost too.
