When starting new games sometimes I join armies as captain. Hearing or reading orders from the commander is very immersive and useful. But most of the time I run my own army and join other armies in battles and then have no clue anymore about what other lords are doing. In these battles I join allies to fight large armies bigger than mine and these battles are the ones where my party suffer the more loss because during melee I don't notice that allies are moving back and then my party fight whole enemy army alone on the frontline.
During every battles where there other commanders than the player I would like to hear all friendly AI orders. And if there are too many massages and it annoys some players it could be an option to turn off.
