Resolved Issue with callouts during battle

Whenever I go with cavalry by pressing number 3 it highlights the right troops but for whatever reason the character just shouts out footmen.

Any reason why this is happening? Or simply it's a bug?

Pretty sure its a bug. Pretty annoying one. Makes you confused if you ordered the proper troops.

Yeah I just posted a thread on this as well, it also happens with horse archers and any other groups you might assign.

Oh apologies, didn't mean to double post.

I thought it might be a companion issue as all of them are treated as infantry even when they are on horses so I messed about with their group assignments but to no avail.

No worries, the amount of bugs posted each hour is staggering. The cause of the problem might indeed be the companions, since my character only started calling my horse archers infantry when I added a companion I think. Do you know if it is fixed when you re-assign your companion to the infantry or if you dismiss him/her?

I can confirm that once the companions are out of the party the cavalry is again referred to as horsemen or cavalry.

In my game, my cavalry contains all my followers as well as horse archers and lancers, and the shout I get when commanding them is "Archers!".

Seems to have been fixed. But now the save files are getting corrupted
