Resolved Isle of Deriad flashing ground texture with symbols

The Isle of Deriad map in Captains Mode has the ground texture flashing and a symbol appears patterned throughout the map. My guess: it's to do with the lightning/rain weather effects.

The symbol looks like a circle with lines and lettering such as this:

OS: 7x64
GPU: GTX970
CPU: i5-4690k
RAM: 16GB
Motherboard: Z97-A

To be a bit more descriptive the ground texture is pulsing between dark/light and the symbol pulses with it as a negative/positive image stitched throughout the entire map. The pulsing seems to be almost in sync with the rain or flashing weather effect.

The symbol is like a watermark of some sort? Find myself wondering what it is lol. Very mysterious.

Verifying files does not resolve. Textures are on High.

This graphical anomaly is still visible across the entire ground texture of Isle of Deriad in 1.4.0

Would this issue get better visibility in the Map Related Issues sub forum?
