Recruit

I posted a thread about a mod idea called Shipwrecked. Apparently there was already a mod called Shipwrecked, so I changed the name to Island of Unbending Will. This is a temporary name. It's still a raw idea, so I'm looking for help on this. DynastyFenix is going to help out, but one isn't enough. Island of Unbending Will has two storylines. One before the crash, and one after. The story before the crash is non-fiction. It consists of the 11 crusades, but the mod probably won't have all of them, but, you never know. The story after the crash is about the survivors and how they rise to war with the mysterious inhabitants of the island. I decided not to have the "slitherers" to be people who previously crashed on the island. They're are just hellish creations. I understand there have been maaaaany mods on the english crusades. But this will be half crusades and half island. Plus, I think that this mod will have over half on the crusades. Anyway, this is the summary of the crusades of england. Btw, this is copied from Wikipedia. I'm too lazy to type it all myself. lol.
The Crusades were a series of military campaigns—usually sanctioned by the Papacy—that took place during the 11th through 13th centuries. Originally, they were Roman Catholic Holy Wars to recapture Jerusalem and the Holy Land from the Muslims, but some were directed against other targets, such as the Albigensian Crusade against the Cathars of southern France, the Northern Crusades, and the Fourth Crusade which conquered Constantinople. The origins of the crusades lie in developments in Western Europe earlier in the Middle Ages, as well as the deteriorating situation of the Byzantine Empire in the east. The breakdown of the Carolingian Empire in the later 9th century, combined with the relative stabilisation of local European borders after the Christianisation of the Vikings, Slavs, and Magyars, meant that there was an entire class of warriors who now had very little to do but fight amongst themselves and terrorise the peasant population. The Church tried to stem this violence with the Peace and Truce of God movements, which was somewhat successful, but trained warriors always sought an outlet for their violence. One later outlet was the Reconquista in Spain and Portugal, which at times occupied Iberian knights and some mercenaries from elsewhere in Europe in the fight against the Islamic Moors.

There's a game about the crusades. It's not historically accurate, but it does have some previews for armor and weapons, it's called Knights of the Temple: Infernal Crusades.
Here's a link the demo. http://www.mofunzone.com/download_games/knights_of_the_temple_infernal_crusade.shtml
