No its just restingit certainly feels dead?
It is mostly a single-player game, so being "dead" is irrelevant if you never play MP.Curious what everyone else thinks, as it certainly feels dead?

MP is kind of dying, but it's still somewhat fine. No updates hit hard considering how broken the game is right now.Curious what everyone else thinks, as it certainly feels dead?
Play SkirmishBannerlord MP would be great if it had team balance, proximity voice chat or at least team voice chat as well as friendly fire.
No ty, too claustrophobic and also I played Counter Strike for years, if I wanted to play linare close to zero tactical maps Id still be playing CS.Play Skirmish
The game doesnt scale well. Not beyond having 300-400 high tier troops and several fiefs and a town and high cap army.Gotta wait for updates or significant mods, or just enough time to want play again. I finished a full campaign a couple weeks ago and the game from the "I have 100 troops" point on is super repetitive and takes a lot to paint the map, so I'm good for awhile after I finish it. Game is like 4 hours or less of early game and then the rest is the exact same thing endlessly until map painted. Not a complaint, just saying why mods or updates are needed for me to want to play another campaign.
Like thisThere needs to be more high level control and diplomacy so the player can manage an empire. There are functions in place to do this, but not effectively enough to reduce the grind or unique content enough to fill the void.

Unfortunately that's the opposite of what Taleworlds wants. Idk why but even after repeated requests from the community for more player agency Taleworlds doesn't want to budge. I've never understood their view point on this because players want to feel like they're winning or losing because of decision they've made not by watching the game play itself. My biggest issue is the game is so ****ing boring after the first few hours. It's the equivalent of watching paint dry. I play games to have fun and be challenged not to play a glorified version of wack a mole. There needs to be more high level control and diplomacy so the player can manage an empire.
