Is this doable?

NordArcher

Sergeant at Arms
For archers, a new animation for getting up on stuff, instead of jumping, when archer is next to a border (say waist or chest high) border, he would take his quiver, put it on top of the border, then grab the border and climb up, to finally take the quiver back. The thing is, it would need to be done instead of jumping around.

Also i want to know if and how it can be done to make arrows fall off the quiver if an archer jumps.

AFAIK, none of this is possible.
Maybe if you are excelent coder and animation maker with enthusyasm.
And according to your rank you cant be.

Well, the rank doesn't determine a skill of a modder :P Rank is gained on how much online you have spent on the forums. I have seen many recruits who have done many good scripts which I personally couldn't do even though I'm a modder and my rank is master knight. So rank doesn't really determine the skill (:.

I know that dont matter, but...
In rank you can "read" few things-
How many tutorials he read.
How many time he "sacrifised" for talewords.

And I ve seen his mod and I doubt he is skilled in scripting. ;)
Without any offence of course.
I hope I m wrong and that it is possble, but I fear...

No, i'm actually good at making algorythms and stuff with C and C++. I just can't figure out all the variables and ****, and all the module system confuses me. The documentation is far from being complete, there's so many ****ing variables that have obscure names or lack of comments that i give up on "scripting" the module system.

You are forgetting that the more time spent coding is the less time on taleworlds. And you don't have to be logged in to read tutorials. ;)

AfaIk, yes, this COULD be possible. But, not at all easy. You could perhaps replace the jump animation (so people would still have to press space to climb) and do /a lot/ of animation work. For me, that would be much too much work, but you could always give it a go. :P
