Is there anything you can do when looking for a specific weapon?

I tried building a smithy in a town and supplying it with iron ore and hardwood, but he only thing that did was reduce the income from the smithy. Meanwhile another town wihout a smithy was selling a tier 6 sword, so I assume the smithy doesn't make a difference. Both towns wre described as poor with malnourished people, so prosperity has no impact either.

At current state every aspect of this game is unplayable with only one exception - atmosphere of combat is super good. Everything else - companions, party, prisoners, quests, perks, smithy, relations with lords, family, economy, diplomacy and wars, everything is random or broken, anyway disappointing.

Most weapons and armor are culture specific, so you have to be looking in a town that is tied to that weapon's primary user. Glaives are only available in Khuzait towns, billhooks are only available in Vlandian towns, etc.

Higher tier items also require that the workshop that produces them has been in town for awhile. Don't expect the items to made available for purchase over night.

Warrazors are supposed to be sturgian and I made laps around the kingdom for two seasons, checking the shops.

You can turn on cheat mode and grab what you want.
There are also some mods.
In the actual game there isn't much you can do as much of the good stuff does not spawn in shops.

I'm pretty sure weapon availability is tied to clan level.
