Is there anything to do in the endgame?

I've reached the point of founding a Kingdom and taking over the Sturgian lands. At this point, I don't know what to do anymore to keep myself interested in the campaign. Taking city after city has already become a chore with the broken siege battles and all.

It might be months before the endgame is the most important issue to the continued development of Bannerlord.

I've been distracting myself by traveling city to city, doing tournaments, thumping gang skulls, and smithing in between. I think we'll need to wait for them to flesh out the campaign.

Yep pretty much this for me too. Now that I have a ton of cash I decided to equip all my heroes with culture appropriate armor. LOL who knew Bannerlord fashion was end game. :iamamoron:

Yeah the game needs to have more diplomacy options to have more entertainment when kingdom management becomes a thing. I haven't had much desire to play the past week due to not having a fun end goal at this point and starting over is feeling dry with nothing feeling new or different than weapons, companions, and fight tactics. I will never be one that plays the game to go bandit mode or trader. so it limiting at the moment.

When you united and conquered Calradia, the map will change to a world view where there are 7 other kingdoms the size of yours and you get to travel via sea towards the west and north and via land towards the east and south to new lands and try to do a world domination. Because the map is so huge, you might not be able to conquer the world in one lifetime, hence make sure you groom your heirs well so that you have someone to succeed you.

Some endgame content will include investing in new tech and new weaponry (smithing), horse breeding (horse riding), new fighting style/stance (various weapon skills), also expect internal warfare between your vassals (steward, charm, roguery) where you have to get involve to rule over them. Last but not least, rumor has it that an ancient civilization lies hidden where one can find OP raw materials to craft the legendary siege/weapon/armor. Expect Knighthood / Bandit orders to form and surface over your dominance of 10-30 years where it will challenge your kingship. Keep your allies close and your enemies closer because one mis-step and you might have to restart the campaign in Calradia as your son/daughter with everything lost.

The long term problem is when they do finish the campaign, they'll need to add side quests to keep the game going. Not sure if M&B falls into the RPG category but to me it feels like a sandbox RPG
